ABSTRAK : Ikan Mas (Cyprinus carpio) adalah salah satu jenis ikan yang bernilai ekonomis penting. Ikan Mas (Ciprinus carpio) merupakan bahan pangan yang berprotein tinggi, murah dan mudah dicerna. Ditinjau dari masalah gizi saat ini pemerintah melakukan program anak sehat di Indonesia, dengan salah satu kegiatannya adalah menyediakan sumber makanan yang kaya akan protein dan mudah dicerna. Oleh karena itu perlu diadakan penelitian tentang pengaruh kecepatan sirkulasi air di kolam terhadap berat Ikan Mas (Cyprinus carpio) di Balai Benih Ikan (BBI) Lenek Kecamatan Aikmel Lombok Timur. Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecepatan sirkulasi air di kolam terhadap berat Ikan Mas (Cyprinus carpio) di Balai Benih Ikan (BBI) Lenek Kecamatan Aikmel Lombok Timur. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Balai Benih Ikan (BBI) Lenek Kecamatan Aikmel Lombok Timur selama 28 hari dari tanggal 3 Maret sampai 30 Maret 2008. dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode eksperimen. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitin ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan Analisa of Varians (ANOVA). Dari hasil analisis menunjukkan ada pengaruh kecepatan sirkulasi air di kolam terhadap berat Ikan Mas (Cyprinus carpio) di Balai Benih Ikan (BBI) Lenek Kecamatan Aikmel Lombok Timur.

ABSTRACT : Goldfish (Cyprinus carpio) is one of the important economic valuable fish type. Goldfish (Ciprinus carpio) representing food materials which is have high protein cheap and easy to digested. To be evaluated from problem of governmental to gizi in this time healthy child program in Indonesia, wrongly its one activity is to provide the source of rich food of protein will be easy to digested. Therefore require to be performed by research about influence of speed of the water sirculation in pool to Goldfish weight (Cyprinus carpio) in Hall Seed Fish (BBI) Lenek District Of Aikmel East Lombok. This Research aims to know influence of speed of the water sirculation in pool to Goldfish weight (Cyprinus carpio) in Hall Seed Fish (BBI) Lenek District Of Aikmel East Lombok. This Research implemented in Hall Seed Fish (BBI) Lenek District Of Aikmel East Lombok during 28 days from 3 March until 30 March 2008. in this research is used by experiment method. obtained data of this exsperiment is analysed by using Analysis of Varians ( ANOVA).
